WEIKE – Women Empowerment in Kenya e.V. is a non-profit organization founded in April 2017 in Karlsruhe, Germany. For many years before there have been connections to members of the community-based organization Uwezo Develpment Initiative in Kilifi at the east coast of Kenya. Its aim is to provide young vulnerable women in Kenya with education and starting capital to help improve their life and the life of their children. By fundraising and on-site activities WEIKE supports the women to implement their projects in a sustainable way.
